From A-List Actress to Olin MBA

Richa Gangopadhyay is an Indian actress who did her undergrad over at Michigan State University. She took a leap of faith in between her college years to try out acting in Mumbai. She landed a lead role in a box-office hit and became a celebrity overnight. However, acting did not seem like the career she wanted to continue living. In fact, she chose to find a way to combine her marketing experience with a business degree. That's how she ended up at Olin. Now she wants to start a non-profit.

I think this is an interesting article because so many people on these forums are drawn to "the path" and forget there are so many different ways to reach your goal whether it is working in private equity, banking, MBA, or any other competitive position. I find this a valuable lesson that driven, ambitious, and passionate people are the ones who make it there, and not more so the profession they undertake.
