Have you ever lived on the Upper West Side, and have you enjoyed?
This is honestly just a question to see if I can get someone else's opinion. I lived for two years on the Upper West Side in New York and it was by far my favorite area.

Same here. Moved to NYC and signed for a place UWS sight unseen. Liked it so much I ended up staying there for two years before moving downtown.
And now that I'm downtown, I think I liked my place UWS more (both from a value/location perspective)
I'm a fan, been living on UWS for more than a year now. Convenient transportation but number of solid restaurants is a bit lacking. Good selection of cultural exhibits from museums to Lincoln Center.

Agreed, prettiest area in NYC by far. Expensive, but pretty. Getting to midtown on a single train line would be nice though...

Lived near Lincoln Square this summer and loved it. If you're by the subway, even better. They have tons of cute tiny restaurants especially on Columbus ave
