IB

Hello

I read an article written 10 years ago by someone who dated an IB! I'm going through the same stuffs now! We dated online for about months. He was always busy and I missed him terribly. Just over 3 weeks ago he told me he's promoted. Then said he'd communicate with me less often. I got very upset and accused him of being selfish and used me only to validate his hard work. We argued for more than 3 long hours online. Like always he said he's staying with me forever, loves me, but I was too upset to even read his messages. His words meant nothing how I'm supposed to love a man who isn't around. We ended the fight when he said to write to him when I'm calm. He also went offline since now 3 weeks I'm heartbroken. I had 2 big anxiety attacks as I was deeply sad about the whole thing. Dating someone in investment banking isn't easy as you got to be super strong and be able to adapt to this lifestyle. I'm still healing
