Incoming FT NYC Apartment
Hey everyone,
I know there are a lot of incoming FT analysts that are getting ready to start their careers in NYC in IBD. I am wondering what you guys are doing in terms of apartments.
As of right now I am expected to begin at the end on June at a BB (no delays or anything as of the moment). Should I just proceed as normal and get an apartment sometime at the end of May/beginning of June securing a July 1st move in date? I really do not want to be caught off guard in terms of this because I am aware that the rental market in NY can be quite hectic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'm planning to move to new york sometime in July because my lease at school is over at the end of July. Also, eventually we'll have to end up there so I feel like the safest action for me is to proceed as normal.
I was planning on seriously looking in mid May.
Going to aim to sign something first week of June to move in 3 - 4th week of June.
Anyone had flights scheduled to NYC cancelled? Had a late May flight pushed back to second week of June. Messes up plans since I wanted to moved mid-June..
.
The Knopman training is going to be online
All I know is that Knopman Series training may be online. However, according to my bank I am supposed to be working at the desk with my group beginning third week of June
WF is online for training and it got pushed back to mid-July. Might see other banks make similar decisions in the coming weeks.
Was confirmed that my start date will not be pushed back. Looking like virtual training though
What bank are you at?
anyone know how long IB analyst training usually is btw? just curious, thanks
Mine is about 3-4 weeks
