London Banker in need of some attention

Any other Euro monkeys out there feeling that these forums are too US-focused to properly serve the London banking community?

It seems like some topics that are London-specific get answered, but often threads are sitting without response.

Chirp up fellow London Bankers so we can get a sense of how many of us are active on here.

Can you give an example of a situation that occurs in London that should be handled differently than if the same, or similar, situation occured in the colonies?

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford

Spring Programs (e.g. Spring Insight at MS) are basically unique to London. Analyst to Associate direct promotion is another theme that is more typical in London (vs. US MBA or exit after Analyst route). There's 2 eccentricities of Mother England! ;-)

Oh, so that's the function of this site, eh? You want more London engagement, go for it and SPEAK UP. No need to imply that you're somehow being robbed, there's plenty of bandwidth...

HELLO LONDON!

I think there's a good amount of European bankers around here. Maybe they are not the most active users but I think we can also see from business school discussions that there's a younger generation of European WSO members coming. So I agree, no reason to feel lonely, it's just a natural process that there were more Americans to start with.

Maybe Europeans are not that accustomed to sharing info openly on the web either, but it seems like there are still enough people around here anyway.

I feel like I've learned a ton about EU/UK business schools just from reading WSO that I might never have know about otherwise haha
