Mattress Upgrade Suggestions

Hey folks. Happy Friday.

Looking to upgrade our mattress. We currently rock a mediocre one w/ a Tempurpedic bed topper, queen-sized. It's great, but I know sleep is single-handedly the most important aspect of health and my back has been acting up recently. I like a softer pad, while my wife is a fan of the firm style. Our current setup has done me well for about seven years. Just time to upgrade.

I've had such a great experience with Tempurpedic (both product and customer service-wise), so I'm inclined to stay with them. However, mattresses are pricey enough, and adding that T-P logo certainly doesn't help that. I'm amenable to switching, will probably head to the mattress store near me to test some out and then buy 'em online for like 2/3 of the price, LOL.

This is one I was looking at. The end-all cost will run me about $4,100 - not the worst thing ever. I think we are going to switch from a queen to a king-sized one, as we have the space in our room to do so. Figured this was a good place to start but very amenable to any other options that you all may suggest.

Let me know. Enjoy the weekend!

I would recommend Casper. They have a 100 night free trial. Every person who has slept on that bed said it was amazing. I just have the Casper Original, but now they have some pricier options like the Wave. I was a little nervous buying it without trying it at the store, but the Casper mattress is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.

Have heard good things. What size do you have?

I just have a full.

Tempurpedic is fire, its really hard to beat. The best purchase I ever made was my tempurpedic despite being a stomach sleeper so I don't even need a baller mattress (pillows make more of a difference for me).

Are you a side back or stomach sleeper? Just go try a few out. Personally I felt Casper was overpriced for a very mediocre mattress but YMMV and sleeping styles for everyone are different
