Who else is disappointed?
The whole thing is a bunch of softy crap with intermittent screaming. What were they thinking?

Very disappointed - Was hoping a lot from the wait. Maybe a few more listens will get me used to it; I mean, I like it and all, but it's not the sound of Linkin Park I'm used to.
However, the group did say prior to releasing that this album was going to be a bit more different than their past albums.
i like the heavier songs alot...given up is probably my favorite on the album. but the softer songs, as i have to agree with monkeypoker, absolutely suck. shinoda needs to get the fuck over his fort minor shit cuz these songs seem way to influenced by his group. im sure the album will grow on me though.
Blame it on Rick Rubin. They chose him as the executive producer and lately he's been known for creating a sort of "stripped" down sound...the problem is LP is known for their melodic songs so that's contradictory. Thanks Rubin....thanks....
Seriously, I see no carryover from either Hybrid Theory or Meteora. Every song sounds like "My December".
Given Up and Bleed It Out are ok, but would easily be the worst song on either of the two aforementioned albums.
not encouraging reviews. Oh well....Disturbed is in the studio, not sure when the release date is.
