Online Assessment Company asking or photo id?
I just received an email to proceed with an online assessment for a bank located in London. After fulfilling the my basic information, the OA platform asked for an official ID submisison.
Does this make sense? Any similar experience you had?
This is my first time noticing such a thing and it seems scammish/sketchy
Online Assessment Company asking for photo id?
typo - sorry
Im pretty sure you clicked on some phishing link and its asking to upload ID. Otherwise, dont do it — even if its legit. I dont get why a third party firm needs to save your government ID, which can be used for fraudulent activities.
Of course, I paused the process after asking for my ID
How is this the timing of this phising so accurate?
the only time they would ask for ID verification is during the background check after you've signed an offer letter and engaged a known background agency firm (or in-house for smaller firms). Asking for sensitive information immediately after the initial assessment is probably a scam.
Seems like BTG Pactual’s online assessment
avoid that dogshit firm
lol care to explain?
I don't need to explain, it should be self-evident from what they're asking for
