I personally feel that a good brand tends to speak for itself without doing ‘influencer’ events on Tiktok in order to advertise to their audience.

You don’t see places like GS, JPM or Jane Street bringing random influencers into their offices to promote their company. Campus recruitment or whatnot is a different kettle of fish and much more normal I would say.

Dare are also a strange company, they still do ‘pit trading’ simulations for their assessment centres where you just get a bunch of 21 years olds shouting at each other like they’re in Wolf of Wall Street - not really indicative of a modern day trading floor…

Dare and their CEO just stinks of "loser".

I don't take anyone seriously who spends so much time writing BS "inspo" posts on LinkedIn nor doing all of this TikTok business.

Wouldn't choose Dare if you had a reputable alternative - whether that be BB, oil major, or prop shop. I got weird vibes from their advertising, though doing some digging - it appears they're at the very least well remunerated. Pulling their pay per head:

2022: $892,843 (125 employees)
2021: $586,529 (69 employees)
2020: $130,273 (46 employees)

Last time I recruited, their 1st stage made you film a TikTok advertising Dare and they advance you to the next stage based on that. So there's always a massive surplus of Dare TikToks. Plenty of firms do this too anyway
