Work for a large global megabank in the US. Employees are required to travel but no budget provided for lodging, with an implied understanding employees are responsible for finding and paying for their own lodging. I know people crashing on couches, Airbnb’s, etc. Is this normal at other banks? Sounds like a violation of some law.
