Alright usual doomer post but i genuinely don't see some magical way out.
What's the solution for the Debt ? Trump for like 5minutes saw some light with DOGE and his america first discourse.
Then he turned out to be a complete conman entangling the US in foreign wars and screwing the average american, while ballooning the debt. It's like the absolute worst first half mandate of any president.
The only good thing he did was put the DEI/genderwar on the backburner.
To blue leaning "i told you so crowd", yeah you were right, he is a complete failure.
Now while he was a conman that sold a plan and did the opposite, the democrats are not even selling a good plan, they have no plan or even tentative solution for the debt and mostly focus on social agenda and some nebulous proposals that don't move the needle. So i guess short term they are better, they'll keep everyone busy with anticorruption investigations, hopefully stop the war, troll us with more made up genders etc.
What i am trying to get to is i feel (across all the large countries in the west), it's just a sleepwalk toward disaster with no solution.
The only saviour is basically AI delivering SO MUCH growth and pays for our ineptitude.
What do you think is the solution for the debt ?
