Another country I have lived in before have tried this concept and it had many advantages, surprisingly. People were much happier at the workplace and more relaxed, even more motivated to put more effort into the other days.

Not sure whether banking will care that much about it though.

How were the advantages surprising lol, seems pretty obvious to me

Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer putting a moderate amount of effort each day than going full turbo charge with periods of nothing. Much harder to adjust remain in the groove after the periods of nothing compared to consistent but moderate effort.

So instead of working 5 weekdays and work 2 days over weekends now bankers will work 4 weekdays and 3 days over weekends?

Might be interesting to consulting firms (lot of money saved on housing/per diems if they work 1 less day on site) but this won't work for any finance job that's tied to the stock market.
