Depends where you are in the US. Texas, Florida, the South in general have few Covid restrictions. DC, which is super liberal, requires them for entry to bars/restaurants. It all depends at the state level. Republicans are projected to do well in the midterms this year so it could change, but that's towards the end of the year.
