Why are there so few white British women working in Finance in London/Canary Wharf/City? Especially in IBD
I have looked at LinkedIn employee profiles of several firms in London. Also, I know people who work there.
I have found that there is very few British people in general and almost no British women. Most of women working in Canary Wharf are Mainland Europeans and some Asians.
Why is that? I have some theories. But wonder what are your thoughts?
partly because being bilingual is advantageous
Most of the jobs only require english
