Eh, The Underachievers are kind of just a Flatbush Zombies knockoff. Don't get me wrong, their music is great. But they do lack Meech's personality and Erik Arc Elliot's productions. If you like the Underachievers, you should check out a group from Queens called World's Fair.
I don't like to give these new kids credit... I actually hate giving them credit. It's either they're emo , backpackers , or just trying to imitate others out right now. I need that straight up hood shit , fergs album fills that void. Fergivicious is just ridiculous. All of his shit is original. Tde is nice but I need that east coast shit. I need that Nas, Mobb Deep, Old g unit shit back. I can't take these fucking backpackers looking like Big Sean ass fags.

Damn, that must have been cool. It's also kind of hard to compare because they are in very different stages of development: The Underachievers still need to get some more music out there. OP probably won't like this but I'm a huge fan of Bronson; he has to be mentioned in a discussion of NY hip-hop.
action is alright. personally, i grew up around straight hood motherfuckers. i don't want to listen to a rapper that i would never hang out with or could beat up. i feel like these FBZ, underachievers, world fair dudes are just trying to imitate others. look at joey badass, he tries his best to act like hes from the 90's , but he really isn't, plus he doesn't really have bars. a lot of the rappers out now a days are nerds and thats the last kind of people i want to listen to. trying your best to stand out by looking, acting, and dressing retarded makes you look stupid, but then again, theres plenty of people who think that shit is unique. not my shit though, ill continue to listen to old school shit.

Well I agree with that; joey badass is a punk and tries way too hard to play the part- one of my least favorite rappers. Do you listen to Jay Rock? Still west coast though. You're right, east coast hard rap pretty much revolves around Ferg. Besides Trap Lord, I would prefer to just go back and listen to Biggie or Pun.
I dig Trap Lord a lot, especially in the car. Rocky has some awesome singles but I think as an album its at least as good as anything Rocky's put out. Every song is good.
