Advice on current situation

Hi WSO,

I would like to ask if I could gather advice on my current situation. I would be very appreciative and very grateful. If not I understand and apologize for wasting your time.

Currently I just finished my first year at my university. I am attending a small non-target university in Florida. I fell in love with the financial services industry after speaking with a former analyst from Lehman Brothers and fell in love with the industry ever since. I have been working very hard to get into the industry. I was able to partake in some of the organizations on campus that have a finance and economics curriculum and compete among my peers within competitions that would take place. From there I was very fortunate to have received an opportunity to get into a middle market investment bank interning within WM. I was able to learn from the experience and asked tons of questions. I was going to school full time and working at the investment bank while trying to keep a great GPA. I was given an opportunity to attend a few diversity and inclusion forums for some of the BB'S and I was able to land an internship for the summer with a broker dealer, here I am studying to take the SIE exam and shadowing many of those within the firm. I am going back to the middle market in September and would like to ask if I could receive constructive criticism, advice or any feedback as I am trying my best to see if I could get into a BB sophomore program this summer coming up.

Best,

Wyatt67
