Any SCUBA Divers on WSO?
IlliniProgrammer and MilitarytoFinance's comment about SCUBA diving on another thread made me wonder if there are any other certified divers on the site. What are your favorite dive locations? What dive certifications do you have? What is your dream vacation dive?
Haven't gotten certified but hope to soon. Went diving in Oahu, St. Lucia, Thailand and Bali. My dream dive site would be French Polynesia, Galapagos, and the Seychelles.

Yes, you can dive without certifications, but if you are doing that, you are going under the eye of a watchful dive master. Heck, most beach hotels have some sort of program where you can get a "day certificate" to dive as part of a group. There's some way they can do it... How, I dunno...
That said, I do have my diving certifications. I'm certified for Open Water and Nitrox diving. Why do you ask.

Just wanted to see if there were any of divers on WSO. I'm considering the Key Largo, FL for a cheap trip before business school in 2014 sometime. I'm planning on eventually buying a backplate and wing bcd...I picture this as a lifelong hobby.
I think I want to try cenote/cave diving one day too...looks awesome but super scary.
