Hey everyone, I have a idea and I was wondering if anyone had done this successfully before.
I was buying a ticket to a concert/festival and bought the pre-sale ticket for $100. 2 days later I went back and checked out prices and pre-sale was over and tickets were now $150. Now I know $50 isnt much of a gain (I'm hoping it will sell out and go up more) but if I had bought 10 extra tickets and resold them I would have pocketed $500 for doing virtually nothing
Have any of you ever done this before as a way to make some extra cash while in school or anything? It seems way too easy and thats why I'm asking. Any flaws you see?

I'm aware of what its called. I would be reselling them online, not standing in front of the event. Scalping is only illegal in 13 states, I will be in PA where its legal. So my question is, has anyone tried the buy online-sell online of tickets for profit before?
Yes, did this repeatedly with festival tickets, concert tickets, and school events before graduation. Crushed Senior Week, the school was stupid enough to so significantly undersubscribe for its events that tickets that went for $35 each (to anyone who could get one) resold for $100+ the following week.
As long as you're in a state where scalping isn't illegal, go for it; easy money.
