Audit Internship at KPMG (Banking & Finance Division)
Hi all. I am a rising junior, who will be doing a summer internship in the audit department at KPMG. Although I opted for the advisory division, I was put in the audit department in the Banking and Finance Team. What is the role of an auditor who works with the banking industry?
Later in the future, I want to work in the advisory or assurance team (More finance and investment related role) Should I ask the HR Manager for a possible switch in the internship department? Or would working as an intern auditor in the B&F division be a good career starting point?
Any words of advice or opinions would help.. Thanks very much!!
