I know a guy at Mck. and I was told that first year as a consultant w/out an mba is ~70k, w/ an mba is between 100 and 150k all in.

That sounds low. From what I hear, all in at McK first year is 175-200K including sign on and year end bonus.

Out of curiosity, if you are promoted from an undergraduate consultant-->senior level/same title as first year-mba, would the compensation and pay grade be the same as the first year-MBA?
