Differences between balance sheets of companies in different sectors

I was wondering if there are any resources available that shed some light on the key differences between the balance sheets of companies that are active in different sectors. For example, a retailer will have a lot of inventory (and higher working capital) whereas a technology firm will have more intangible assets and less inventory.

Are there any known articles, guides or websites that dig deeper into this?
