Film finance or video-game finance

hi guys, im new to the forum. it would be great if i can get an advice regarding a career path ive chosen.

so, im a rising junior and also a finance major. recently i did an internship at the weinstein company and worked for the assistant to the company's CFO in new york.

although my role was mainly research of box office trends and stuff like that; i really really liked it! :)

now im extremely passionate about it; films and video-games are two things that im interested in and i want to apply finance to those industries (one or the other).

ive done 3 internships, none of them are big or anything; basically: 1) Internship at The Weinstein Company 2) Accounting/Finance internship at an Event Marketing Company 3) Research Intern at a recruitment firm for hedgefunds (which i quit after 1 month because it was really dull)

now I'm a TA in my school for an anthropology course.

and i have 2 extra curics as an assistant coach and a volunteer in a nursing home (3years and 1 year respectively)

so yeah, nothing "WOW" so far.

i keep in touch my supervisor at weinstein and the CFO is kind enough to arrange a dinner between me, my supervisor and a finance person (i guess CFO also?) of Nintendo.

but i know that wont be enough and i know i will need to have strong finance background before i enter those industries.

however, i just DONT KNOW where to start since there are literally no internships left for the industries im interested in. ive applied to internships at various divisions of banks and have not gotten a reply. (though i applied to a small one yesterday and i think ill get the position).

also i go to CUNY Baruch which is like frowned upon in this forum (i know) :P

ive just started my first finance class and im liking it, but if i were to work in a bank; i wouldnt know which division i want to work in nor would i know which area will best suit me.

all i know is that there are two industries i want to work in, film finance or video-game finance; but i just dont know how to start and how to get there. the only step ive taken is reading a book on film financing and its the first time that reading doesnt feel like a chore to me lol :)

so, it would be great you guys can pitch in a provide some advice :)
