Funding Controllers Group with a Bulge Bracket IB

Can I get some opinions on working with the funding controllers group Bulge Bracket Investment Bank.. Pros vs Cons / Future Growth Potential etc.... I have been on a consulting engagemement with this group and from what I have seen so far, it is not very interesting (regardless of the brand name) and not sure what possible direction the career can take post spending time within this group .... What am I missing ????
