Hill staffer asks - What information do you wish lawmakers consumed?

Hey all - I'm relatively new here and I know that there are podcast threads, etc, but I want to ask a relatively tailored question: what content do you read/follow/listen to on a daily or weekly basis that you wish federal policymakers would pay attention to? I'm a Hill staffer working on financial services policy, and read a broad swath of industry-related news every day, as well as take in podcasts, deeper-dive articles, books, and so on. In particular, I've been faithfully following the Macro Voices podcast with Erik Townsend for a while now, and have noticed that one of the biggest gripes of the people he has on the show is that policymakers don't actually understand what they're doing, be it for a lack of industry experience or a failure to grasp the industry-specific consequences of imposed regulation, etc. So, I ask the question: What books, podcasts, newsletters, twitter accounts, etc. do you wish those on the policy side would use as a resource in informing policy discussions?
