Would be great to get experiences from those who have worked in or alongside "line" managers or general managers in industry. Can those with experience willing to share provide some context regarding: what a day in the life is like, general responsibilities, compensation and progression, work/life balance and anything else someone looking to accept such a position might want to know? Also, any resources recommended either for job search or general applicable knowledge proposes?
