Moving soon and don't know where to start

I'm moving in a month to another city in Cali and it terrifies me. I have lots of fragile items like glass figurines and ceramic bowls and I'm afraid the movers will accidentaly break them. Is there a decent moving company that you've dealt with that actually handles fragiles with care? Or maybe there's some sort of comparison platform with the possibility of comparing prices and packaging options? I'm really bad a packing stuff, so I'll be relying on the movers' skills in this aspect, too.

Many thanks in advance.

Moving can definitely be tough, especially when you have fragile items to worry about.  Consider packing your fragile items in sturdy, smaller boxes. This makes them easier to handle and reduces the risk of breakage during the move.

Try to wrap them in old newspaper and / or towels (depending on the item). If you store several in a box, make sure they space in between is covered so they don’t fly around or get massively shaken when moved. If you transport them yourself, mark the boxes and try to fixate them for the whole drive, if possible.

Good luck.
