NBA sucks compared to having a trust fund if you're born right
NBA rookies make what, ~1.2mm ameribucks? Although that jumps to the low 10s by your 30s, you burn out pretty quickly. You also work terrible hours if you include practice, conditioning and whatnot, so it's a shitty deal.
Now if you have a trust fund, you might be making ~40mm assuming your trust fund is at least one small one (1bn) and dividends are 4%. All this for zero hours a week (~90 hours less than the NBA).
