well, i just did. seems it ain't what it was. many say it's become very political and "evil", much less "googlie", pay seems decent-minus, bonuses exist. looking at low six-figures at entry to possible 150k total comp... http://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/Google-Salaries-E9079.htm tho most of the salaries are cor engineers and such, but some product managers and marketers.

To be a product manager at google you will need to have a CS background. I think some of them have MBAs as well, but they probably did something CS related for undergrad. I don't know your story, that's just a general comment about the product manager role.
