Prestigious Careers besides IB/HF/PE/Wall Street/Consulting?
For someone who is not interested in Banking/Trading/Private Equity/Hedge Funds/Consulting post MBA, what are some good options.
It not as necessarily about money as much as the impact of the job, but of course it should be a decent paying job.
I can think of American Express Strategic Planning or Disney Strategic Planning. Any other ideas?
And how competitive is it to get into something like AMEX SP both after UG and B School?
Disney Corp Strat is quite well regarded. Never of the AMEX program. You could also consider f100 corp strategy roles or treasury (exxon has a particularly strong treasury operation, as you might imagine, though it is quite selective).
Entrepreuneur is the way to go.
