Private Banking Analyst Vs. Equities/FI Trading Desk Compliance

Hey fellow monkeys,

First time poster here. I am in the fortunate position of having to decide between two offers. One as an analyst in Private Banking and the other sitting on the equities/Fi desks of an IB, supporting the traders with regulations and compliance related matters.

I would appreciate any insight into both industries, what you think will open more doors down the line and where things could lead. As well as, any ideas about the comp and types of opportunities to jump.
