All that for a 15k bonus =/

Still not sure if I want to spend the next 30+ years grinding away in corporate finance and the WSO dream chase or look to have enough passive income to live simply and work minimally.

smitty and missingno SHUT THE FUCK UP. have you no shame? someone dies and the first thing you do is laugh and make fun of their bonus.

very sad stuff, rest in peace. but i'd think the 120 hours during peak hours is more of a Chinese phenomenom..hear it's more like 80 hours for audit season. i'd also imagine that there were other health or risk factors involved, not just the overwork.

Agreed with the above. Yes, compassion, it's an emotion. Have you ever heard of it?

I think if someone is trying to push 120 a week, they are extensively inefficient. I do feel sad for this girl because she seems like a smart person, but I don't think anyone has ever signed up to die, especially in audit.

PwC does work people hard, but its PwC.. top Big4, people choose their own fate.

To the guys whining about compassion, this is an internet forum, learn to deal.

My girls dad works in Audit and even as a big 4 version of a BSD, he gets a hotel room in the city so that he can stay at the office later. They crank out the hours.
