Search Fund Internship During School Year?
So i'm transferring to a target as an incoming junior and am wrapping up a f500 corpfin/strategy internship. I've got some first/second rounds with IB's lined up through the fall but might have to extend graduation to the class of 2021 if I don't secure an SA19 offer. What do you guys think is the consensus on having work like this?
I'll be sourcing M&A deals, your typical PE fund/search fund internship. Would this help on my resume, as far as recruiting prospects? Of course I'll be getting the sourcing skills and due diligence experience so as far as that goes, I'm happy to do it.
