Semiconductor Primer
Anyone have a good Primer for semiconductor industry? Something that goes over all players, whole supply chain, actual technical information for different semi. types, and end market usage? I feel like one of the banks should have something pretty standard for this given the focus last few years.
MS and GS both have decent semis primers from '22-'23. JPM's is more technical but older.
Credit Suisse had the best one before they imploded - might still find it floating around.
For supply chain stuff, check out Bernstein's semis coverage. They actually understand the tech side vs just throwing around buzzwords.
Taiwan semi-quarterly calls are basically free education if you can stay awake.
Most bank research is surface-level. You want real understanding, talk to people who actually work at NVDA/AMD/Intel IMO. (Hot take)
