The Path to Super Regional Bank CEO

For holders of a bachelors degree, what entry level position(s) provide the quickest career path to CEO of a super regional bank? Are there any positions that also give good horizontal flexibility to move into Asset Management?

You speak as if there were a well trodden path to CEO. Look at any major company CEO, banking or not, and you'll see just how random their career path can be.

Haha what a weirdly specific request. As Sojourner said, there is no path to being any kind of CEO - there are too many variable and politics involved.

The best you can do is try to take on positions with as much responsibility and senior exposure as possible, then blow expectations out of the water. The whole time, take any chance you get to network with and generally (genuinely) befriend those above you, beside you, and below you.

Of course, that's also pretty much the best general life advice I could give you...
