Tips for an FA?
My friend is an FA at a reputable firm FA firm.
She's passed her tests but feels like the job isn't a great fit. She's only done it for a few months and she can't change to a competing firm for at least a year unless she gets laid off.
Anyway - so assuming she sticks it through - what are her exit opportunities besides Bschool?
Do you mean financial adviser?
yea
still nothing? No financial advisors here can comment about exit opportunities?
She could sell sweaters at Saks, that's what one person I know who used to be a FA does now. Seriously it's the bottom of the barrel. It's the only job I've been offered but unemployment is better than that shiit.
If you add a "g" after the "FA" you get "Tips for a..." you get the picture... fyi...
wow - this is awful =(
Are FA's really that lowly considered?
Ya, FA's are a joke. Quality FA's have a CFP and are fee based rather than commission. Anybody can be a FA, total joke.
