Website Programming Help

Hey

I am looking for some people who are more tech savvy.

I am currently building a website. I am looking to add a "Like That" or "Dislike That" button that users click and it will display the number of clicks next to the like/dislike button. I want the users to be able to filter the topics regarding the most likes or dislikes.

Does anyone know of an app or possibly some advice on getting this done? How much would it take to have someone program this for my site?

Thanks!

Without knowing your underlying tech or what you're building it's kind of hard to make a suggestion. That's a trivial feature for a programmer to implement though. If you want something that's more integrated into a CMS, check out Pligg.com, or if you're on Wordpress, checkout the plugin "I Like This".

Thanks for this. I've been building my own site and searching for a CMS. I fooled around with Drupal, but Pligg might work better for my needs. SB
