What do you think of ________ University's alumni?

This is geared towards the people with jobs that have worked with people from a decent range of schools... Any school's alumni stick out to you? Whether it's smart, hardworking, snobby, good/fun coworkers? Just interested in hearing what you guys think about certain schools... include UMich if you can, obviously I'd like to hear how our alumni are reppin the school.

My profile: I worked in an MBB for 4 years, hedge fund for five. Graduated from a small liberal arts school that is not the one described below.

Just my two cents.

Williams College is among the most culturally consistent.

You find their alums in a number of places...higher up than you think at banks, hedge funds, consulting firms, you name it. Examples: Chase Coleman, Andreas Halvorsen

They aren't...loud about where they're from but they're a smart, clubby bunch with a very very strong connection to the school and network. My best analyst is from Williams and I got him from another Williams alum who went to bat for him. Once saw him pick up the phone and talk to Jimmy Lee for an hour at JP Morgan (WTF right?). I think this my general impression, they really go to bat for each other.

Dartmouth is similar in that way. Generally nice, really smart people. Very strong connection to the alma mater.

Worked with a lot of alums from that place over the years, always impressed by them. Generally, folks from Williams and Dartmouth they work hard, play hard, and drink well.

Worked with lots of Harvard and Yale folks over the years but don't really have a strong sense for them as a whole. Some are my best friends, some are complete dicks. I've found MIT is less nerdy than the reputation would have them be and that Cornell is more nerdy than the reputation.

As an interviewer, Wharton folks have generally bombed my interviews but I have gotten along with many of them outside it.

Generally haven't gotten along with Duke folks but I'm not certain why.

Small sample size caveats apply.
