1st year PE internship (London)
I'm a first year undergrad looking to gain PE experience that could help me secure an IBD summer analyst offer for 2023... I've come across a mid-market PE firm (approx. 3bn EUR under management) in London with an interesting industry focus & investment philosophy where I'd love to try to get an internship for Summer 2022.
One of the partners studied at the Oxbridge college as me (pretty unusual coincidence!) and also founded a business that I've been interested in for some time but I'm conscious that reaching out to a partner might not be the most effective strategy - does anyone have any advice on what might be my best course of action?
