Anyone familiar with Clarion Capital Partners?
Looks like a pretty broad mandate across industries, control/minority deals, and a credit arm. Any insight on comp/culture etc.? Looks like their last fund was Fund III closing in 2017 so I have to presume they're in market now or will be imminently?
(not to be confused with the real estate Clarion)
Bump
Anyone have anything here?
bad place to work, trash culture
Is it just bad WLB, mean people, or is something else going on? Have been doing some more digging since making this thread and returns are apparently excellent.
Promotion cycle takes forever, not particularly fast at deploying capital, heard the head guy is a prick but people are generally nice and WLB is solid overall. Doesn’t seem like a great growth opportunity tbh but maybe fine for an associate stint or if you were coming in as a partner
Any insights on their process in terms of modeling test / case study?
Takes forever to get promoted as stated and comp under market. Senior guys all super old and very lifestyle fund, they never raise money and the top dude is a prick, otherwise it's awesome!
Would echo everyone else, but also add that there's only one partner. everyone else stuck being an MD, because Kogan keeps the title and carry for himself
