Asking HH for Comp
When you guys talk to HHs, do you ever straight up ask them what the comp is or is that just me? Trying to see if its even worth my time to go through the process

I always do.. same exact reason that I don't want to waste my or their time for a role that pays below my target comp
is doing this also appropriate as a 1st year IB analyst going through on-cycle as well or do you have that luxury due to your seniority now?
Generally speaking most funds that conduct on-cycle process are typically MF/UMM so they are already paying top of the market and there comp is pretty standard across the incoming class
