Best-performing MM / UMM funds in Europe
I'm a first-year analyst at GS / MS and am looking to make the switch to PE. I'm not that interested in MFs as they are more heavy on the financial engineering and the companies are large enough that it's difficult to significantly transform them / outperform market growth. I think there is quite a lot of info regarding MFs on this forum and it seems the general consensus is that the US MFs really don't perform that well in Europe while the European MFs perform much better.
I would be much more interested in joining a MM / UMM fund where there is less focus on financial engineering, you can transform companies in a much more significant way and you can also be more creative in your sourcing.
However, there is quite limited information on the performance of MM / UMM funds. Which are the best-performing MM / UMM funds with London offices? Would be much appreciated if there is also information on what those returns look like.
