I use hacker news (google it, has a different URL) regularly. Might be too technical but you could just follow the popular posts for "trends".

Most Helpful

Techcrunch, StrictlyVC, VentureBeat, Stratechery, Bloomberg Technology, Emerging Tech Brew, Venture Capital Journal Daily, Crunchbase Daily, Benedict Evans, Fred Wilson, and a couple others alongside VC twitter. For more general M&A and PE news you could also subsribe to PE Hub Wire, WSJ (industry-specific news and deal/news alerts), Bloomberg (Matt Levine and the other sector/industry-specific news), Pitchbook News, Term Sheet, Morning Brew, Robinhood Snacks etc..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion so what you can do is check out sample newsletters from each of these or subscribe to all of them to see what you find best and stick with a few so your inbox is not flooded everyday with newsletters (at least that's what I did). Let us know which ones you ended up sticking with.

thanks. have been using crunchbase, pitchbook, term sheets, dan primack, pe hub & morning brew.

appreciate the other sources! will look into them.
