Anyone got any good resources or recommendations as to how they went about learning this comprehensively with respect to PE take privates?
TIA.

Career Resources
If you are already in PE, the best way is to ask a favour from a UK Magic Circle law firms, e.g. A&O, CC, Freshfields or Linklaters. Typically if you are using one of them regularly, they should be able to give you some training on this for free.
They will absolutely try to bill the fuck out of you. I kindly asked them to produce a brief teach in on the governance laid out in an SHA (pretty complex situation) that they helped draft a couple of years before my time and oh boy was that an explosive/expensive discussion afterwards.
I do like this suggestion, but taking the comment by another user (gracefully put, "They will absolutely try to bill the fuck out of you"), I'd ask a friendly bank that has a decent M&A team. My bank I know has a bunch of relatively boilerplate slides which help with most of the aspects. You won't need to understand it comprehensively (all the legal ins-and-outs) anyway
You can literally put it in a prompt for every single foundation AI models out there (chatgpt, claude, deepseek, gemini, mistral, etc) and see which one gives you the best training framework...
