Buyside pain points - press till it hurts

Alrighttt let's talk about it - we all bitch about banking all the time

What do you hate the most about PE?

I will start

Maybe you guys have it better than me but does anyone hate being the most junior guy in PE and start turning comments again? I am working a PE firm (ignore the title) with a partner who spent the last 20 years as a banker ...so he still cares about the small formatting crap or making me 'chase' just cause he can - and trust me I am good at formatting but this guy is so anal about doing it 'his way'...when does it end? lol

Also, I hate how unproductive finance / IB / PE is....everything is so manual and I hate datarooms. I don't think we ever want to 'adopt' tech solutions to automate anything except capiq / bbg plugin I guess. Do you use anything at work that helps you boost your productivity or make you do less boring mundane crap?
