CD&R WLB / comp
Any insight on WLB / comp at CD&R? What is the associate experience like?
What are some of the better groups?

Comp is good, WLB is bad (very sweaty old school shop), overall strong associate experience in terms of deal experience
Thanks, could you elaborate on comp in line with market, or above?
WLB bad because working on a lot of good deals or partners making jnrs do unnecessary work?
Appreciate the insight
Was above market (think $350k+ first year associate), but not sure how things have changed over the last year with comp changes. CD&R diligence is very intense and they have a pretty work-heavy IC process where IC decks are commonly pushing 100+ slides. Think they double staff associates though (maybe only on deals progressing to second round, not sure)
