I'm a first year at a boutique in NYC, but originally from the Chicagoland area and would like to be closer to home. I'm planning on going through PE recruiting, and was wondering about any input people have on the 3 major firms in Chicago (MDP/GTCR/BDT) in terms of deal flow, culture, work-life balance, etc.
