Didn't Know On-Cycle Started - Where to start

At a BB and heard about the headhunters reaching out to people during training, really didn't think much of it considering that its about 2 years out. Didn't receive any headhunter emails because I didn't update my LinkedIn, which is totally on me. Realized recently that recruiting has been going strong for about a month, and figured that I should throw my hat in on it if its still an opportunity. Was wondering if anyone could provide color on the following questions:

a) Wanted to hear from people that are currently interviewing, where they would recommend focusing efforts if they were in my shoes & any commentary if any on what recruiting looks like off-cycle? I am currently reaching out to the headhunters and trying to get the emails.

b) Also, if you transfer groups internally at your bank after a year and still stay an AN1 can you recruit for class of 2025?

Appreciate all the help fellow monkeys.
