Why @TEXASTEA, can you explain?
Well a blanket statement amidst a topic that is very nuanced, but Europe's "transition" away from fossil fuels as been an irresponsible, unmitigated disaster. Germany is at the forefront. And big European firms have lost a lot of money (think BP, Shell, etc) chasing this theme (in fact, BP has about faced back to oil & gas - they were the poster child). Lots of other Euro companies losing money hand over fist (think offshore wind developers). I can't even imagine the dumb things PE money has done in Europe with this theme.

You definitely haven’t seen HitecVision’s returns then. They’re excellent, and far better than traditional energy PE in the US….
