ER or IB/PE for activist fund?
I want to go to an activist fund eventually but I'm not sure which of the 2 paths would be best. I like the work of ER more, but if that won't lead to a job in an activist fund then I'd rather do IB/PE. Any alternative insight is very welcome. Thanks all
Most activist funds hire associates from MF or UMM PE, but some take directly from IB. Simplest answer for you would be IB then PE

IB / PE better. Thought process around diligence, value creation and being a longer term owner is more in-line with what most activist funds look for
