FK MF
Hi,
I am an analyst (infra team) in one of the biggest European banks (think Barclays, HSBC, BNP, Societe Generale).
I have been working for 1 year and looking to move into PE in >1 year.
The most important things for me are culture and wlb (targeting 65-week hours on average) and being in a good fund to learn and progress my career.
I know that it is impossible for MF (I do not care about those), would like to know what funds should I focus on (I guess MM) and how difficult will it be the recruiting process (heard that MM hire a lot from big-4/consultans so I should be a preferred candidate since coming from large IB?).
Alos, I guess I will have to move to an infra fund, or is it possible for me to enter a generalist programme?
How does it work? It is all through the recruiters? Or do funds have their opportunity on the website like for IB?
Thank you to everyone who will help me!
